Patrick Sukeforth is an associate at Bocarsly Emden, where he practices general real estate law with an emphasis on affordable housing and community development law.  He regularly represents investors, for-profit and non-profit developers in connection with the acquisition, financing and syndication of real estate projects utilizing low-income housing tax credits, new markets tax credits, energy credits and rehabilitation credits.  Additionally, he has experience representing clients in a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leases, and sale-leaseback transactions, as well as with respect to joint ventures and other real estate investment vehicles.

Prior to joining Bocarsly Emden, Mr. Sukeforth was an associate in the Boston, Massachusetts office of an international law firm, where he practiced general real estate law.

Mr. Sukeforth received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, from the University of California at Davis in 2002 and his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School in 2006.  He is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts.
