Mr. Robert Francisco Cowan is an associate with Bocarlsy Emden, representing developers and investors in commercial and residential real estate development. Mr. Cowan earned his juris doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

During his tenure at Loyola, Mr. Cowan was selected to join Loyola's 4th - ranked Byrne Trial Advocacy Team. Mr. Cowan represented Loyola in a variety of national trial advocacy tournaments, being named finalist at the National Civil Trial Competition in 2005, as well as national semi-finalist and regional champion at the American Trial Lawyer Association Competition in 2006. Mr. Cowan was the recipient of the 2007 Karl Seuthe Trial Advocacy Award at Loyola's commencement ceremony.

Mr. Cowan previously worked as a clerk within ABC Entertainment Group / Touchstone Television's legal affairs division. He was Bocarsly Emden's first summer associate in 2006 and joined the firm as an associate in 2007. Mr Cowan received his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and is currently admitted to practice law in the state of California.
